Suddenly December 18, 2013, age 71 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 48 years to Evelyn (nee Popp) Miga; loving father of Michael K. Miga and Sarah (Evan) Bogan; dear grandfather of Daniel Adam Bogan; brother of Theresa (late Raymond) Pogorzala, Helen (late Donald) Daka, Dorothy (late Kenneth) Kess, Frances (Raymond) Stein and Frank E. Miga; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 11 AM - 12:30 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where prayers will be said at 12:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Queen of Martyrs Church at 1 PM. Mr. Miga served in the US Airforce and was a past chief and Exempt member of Pine Hill Hose Co. #5. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Adam's name to Sisters Hospital Foundation 2130 Main St. Buffalo, NY 14214.
