June 4, 2015 of Buffalo, NY. Beloved wife of the late Arthur A. Fassel; dearest mother of Agnes M., Theresa A. (Robert) and Brenda (David); dear grandmother of Michael and Nicholas; sister of late Margaret (late Joseph) Samer, late Mary (late Richard) Fitzgerald and the late Karl (late Wilda) (Louise) Janish; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 3-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 AM and from St. Lawrence Church at 10 AM. Interment United German & French Cemetery. Mrs. Fassel taught many generations of children Religious Education at St. Ann's, St. Lawrence and Queen of Martyrs. Receiving the Religious Educator of the year award at St. Lawrence Church. Prior to marriage, Agnes was an executive secretary then became a devoted wife, mother and volunteer to church and community organizations.
