On November 16, 2024, the world lost a remarkable soul, Alfred Rothenberg, of Colden, NY. Born with a spirit that touched many, Al was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Gail (nee Estabrook). His love for his family was immeasurable; he was a caring father to Eugene (Sharon) and a guiding light to the late Kevin Rothenberg.
Al’s role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, as he treasured each moment spent with Karalea (Joseph) Mulvey and Kathleen Rothenberg. He took great pride in being a great-grandfather to Emmett, Penelope, Winston, and Juniper, whose laughter filled his heart and home.
He shared a special bond with his siblings, including the late Ken (late Florence) and Forrest (late Audrey) Rothenberg, and leaves behind dear nieces and nephews who will always hold him in their hearts.
Although there will be no prior visitation, Al's life and legacy will be celebrated privately by those who loved him most. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in his name to Mercy Flight Buffalo, honoring his commitment to service.
Al was a proud member of the United States Air Force, exemplifying dedication and honor throughout his life. Though he may no longer be with us, his memory will forever remain a source of inspiration and love for all who had the privilege to know him.
