Banas; dearest mother of James Banas and Debra Czapski; dear grandmother of Michael (Laura) Czapski, Matthew (Lauren) Czapski, Megan Czapski, Brandon Peet and great-grandmother of Preston and Palmer Czapski; sister of Rita (late Stanley) Chwala; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday from 7-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 11:30 AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
