Beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee Dajka) Latala; dearest father of Debra (Thomas) Uhteg and Denise Latala; loving grandfather of Melanie Uhteg (fiancé Kurt Grobe) and Tommy (Andria) Uhteg; dear great grandfather of Grant Uhteg and 2 step great grandchildren Adam and Julian; brother of Louis (late Alice) Miller; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday 2-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM and from St. John Gualbert Church at 10 AM.
