January 16, 2015, age 93 of Tonawanda, NY, formerly of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Edward L. Fink; dearest mother of Carol S. Fink DelBalso, Ph.D. (Dr. Angelo M.) of East Amherst, Lucille M. Conran (Dr. Richard M.) of Alexandria, VA and Dr. John A. Fink of Carlsbad, CA; loving grandmother of Mary A. Salter (Dr. Jason D.), Katherine M. DelBalso, Joseph E. Conran, Elizabeth A. Dziopa (Andrew J.) and Angela L. DelBalso; adoring great-grandmother of Henry D. Salter; daughter of the late John V. and Mary V. (nee Harchut) Bojanek; sister of the late Celia (late Rudolf) Zawierucha, late Anthony, late Lucy (late Charles) Bogacki and late Bernard (Marie) Bojanek; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where prayers will be said on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John Gualbert Church at 10 AM. Interment to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mrs. Fink was a Eucharistic Minister and past-president of the Ladies Guild at St. John Gualbert, an alumna of UB (Medical Technology), formerly employed at Millard Fillmore Hospital, a past-president of the Erie County Medical Arts Society, chairman of St. Joseph Intercommunity Hospital Women's Guild, a member of Lancaster Porcelain Artists, avid gardener and bird lover.
