Anthony P. Bogacki

BOGACKI, ANTHONY P.
Long time resident of Chester, NH, died June 21 in Hospice care, in Haverhill, MA, at age 81. Raised in Cheektowaga, NY, Tony attended Saint John Gualbert's Elementary School (g.1951) and Bishop Ryan High School (g.1955). Tony served six years in the Air Force (1956-1962), then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Buffalo (1964). He completed his Master's Degree at Northeastern University, Boston, MA (1988). Tony worked for General Electric in NY State, MA, and NH; and Digital Equipment Corporation (now Hewlett Packard) in MA. He published several technical papers and was awarded two patents for circuit design. Tony loved swing-dancing and cooking and eating good food. In NH, Tony raised livestock and gardened organically. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He organized white-water canoe trips with the Appalachian Mountain Club, and he studied woodworking in the Guild of NH Wood Workers. In retirement, he volunteered with Caregivers of Greater Derry, NH. Tony is survived by daughter, Mary Jane Bogacki and long-time companion, Suzanne Rizzo, nephews and nieces. Predeceased are brother, Rudolph Bogacki (d.2017), mother Lucy C. Bogacki (nee Bojanek, d.2011), father Charles J. Bogacki (d.1978). No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burrial on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at St. John Gualbert Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Arrangements by MELVIN J.
