November 21, 2014 of Amherst, NY. Beloved husband of the late Roselle (nee Ardire) LaBruna; dearest father of Anthony Jr. (Mary), Kathleen LaBruna and Carol (Richard) Harman; son of the late Neil and Angela (nee George) LaBruna; brother of the late Josephine (late Philip) Slacer; brother-in-law of Marie (Anthony) Bonaventura; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday in Queen of Martyrs Church 180 George Urban Blvd. at 10 AM (Please assemble at Church). Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mr. LaBruna was a Veteran of WW II, retired engineer at Bell Aerospace where he worked on the NASA Space Program including the Apollo 11; a member of Queen of Martyrs Holy Name Society, Eucharistic Minister, St. Vincent dePaul Society, Fr. Justin Council K of C and the Romulus Club. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
