October 26, 2014; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of Gretchen M. Schmidt-Notaro. Dearest father of Gregory Notaro and the late Kelly Notaro. Devoted companion of Rocky. Brother of Connie (Larry) Karns. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. and from St. Philip the Apostle Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment St. Matthew Cemetery.
