It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Augusto Zavatti on December 5, 2024, in Depew, NY. Augusto was a devoted husband, cherished father, and beloved grandfather whose life was a testament to love and family.

Beloved husband for 51 years to his devoted wife, Carmela (nee Burgio), Augusto exemplified dedication and partnership. He was a loving father to Massimo (Cristi) and Daniela (Gilbert) Guzman, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. As a grandfather, he found immense joy in his two grandsons, Noah and Gianluca, with whom he created countless treasured memories.

Augusto was also a treasured brother to Carlo Sr. (Sara) and Nina (Alberto Sr.) Ramunno. He was predeceased by his sister, Cleonice Sanelli, yet he leaves behind a family that holds him in their hearts forever, including nieces and nephews who adored him.

Family and friends are invited to gather at 11:00 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church on Tuesday to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that your thoughts and prayers be with them during this difficult time.

Augusto Zavatti’s spirit will live on through the love he shared and the lives he touched. His memory will forever be a guiding light in the hearts of those who loved him.
