April 19, 2012 Age 74 of Cheektowaga, NY. Dearest mother of Michael A., Peter R. (Kathleen), Julianne (Martin A.) Furmanek and the late Ronald E. Fechter; dear grandmother of eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; former wife of Ronald W. Fechter; sister of Ronald Clabeaux; also survived by 2 nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 3 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 5337 Genesee St. Bowmansville. Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. In 1964, Barbara won an award through Albright Knox Art Guild for her painting and was recently a member of Williamsville Arts Society.
