June 19, 2012 of Cheektowaga, NY at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Henry; dearest mother of Sandra (late James) Caffrey, Sr. Barbara, OSF, Bernard and JoAnne (Gary) Hammond; dear grandmother of Sean M. (Sarah) Caffrey, Brian Bartkowiak, Lexis A. Hammond and great grandmother of Tiernan I. Caffrey; sister of Ceil (late Edward) Kwiatkowski; predeceased by other brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 2-8 PM with Rosary recited at 5 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:30 PM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 1 PM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mrs. Bartkowiak was a former active member of the Justinettes. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
