January 10, 1924 - December 14, 2020 age 96 of Cheektowaga NY. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Kania; dearest mother of Jeanette (Daniel) Surdej and David (Shirley) Kania; dear grandmother of Kenneth (Susan) Surdej, Ronald (Kristin) Surdej, Nadine (Jim), Stacey (Greg) Naumovski, David Jared (Vivian) Kania and great grandmother of Samantha, Hanna, Kaitlin, Brandon, Steven and Gregory; great great grandmother of Aria and Maverick; daughter of the late Stanislaus and Mary (nee Gosielewska) Szefler; predeceased by brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Wednesday Dec. 16th from 4-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at St. Andrews Church (Crocker St., Sloan) at 10 AM. (Please assemble at Church) Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
