January 27, 2015; of Cheektowaga, NY; beloved husband of the late Norma E. (nee Lilley) Switalski. Dearest father of Kevin C. (Amy) Switalski and Karin (Mark) Fryer. Dearest Dzia Dzia of Sophia Fryer. Brother of Marie Switalski, Alice (late Stanley) Kaniecki and Eleanore (Leo) Nowak. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Saturday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:15 a.m. and from Infant of Prague Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Charles was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII, Life Member of the Pvt. Leonard Post VFW Post #6251, retired Captain with the Cheektowaga Police Department, Past President of Cheektowaga Alcoves Athletic Club, Past President of Cheektowaga PBA, Past President of Cheektowaga Captains and Lieutenants Association and Past Vice-President of Erie County Captains & Lieutenants Association.
