After a long valiant fight Cynthia went home to rest in the arms of the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (nee Walski) Lesniowski; cherished sister and friend of Carol Ann Lesniowski and Daniel (Pamela) Lesniowski; loving aunt of Kevin (Jennifer) Lesniowski and Carrie (James) Vernon; great aunt of Tanner, Caylyn, Karina, Dylan and Ashley; treasured friend of Jennifer Moran; precious adopted “mama” of Cher (Anita) Raulerson; dearest friend of Laura (Raffaele) Palumbo; caring cousin of Arleen (Karl) Reifschneider; devoted godmother of Meridith Wegrzyn. Cynthia’s passion for teaching and her student relationships have carried on throughout her life. In lieu of flowers, in Cynthia’s honor reach out a hand in an act of kindness. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday July 5th from 3-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 6th at Queen of Martyrs Church 180 George Urban Blvd. at 11 AM. Entombment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
