June 19, 2017; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of the late Rebecca (nee Bond) Nowak. Dearest brother of the late Dorothy Jankowiak. Fond uncle of Elaine Winegar. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Daniel was a Navy veteran and a retiree of Carlton Technologies. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc. 225 Como Park Blvd. Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
