February 8, 2018, age 77 in his Depew, NY home surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband of 56 years to Marie (nee Piacente) Pelczynski; devoted father of Elizabeth (Alfred) Wagner, Denise Picciano, Darleen McCarthy and Kimberly Pelczynski; loving and proud papa to Kristen Picciano, Shaun Wagner, Daniel Picciano and Rachel Wagner; son of the late Zenon and Mary (nee Gmiterek) Pelczynski; brother of late Zenon Pelczynski Jr. and Camille (John) Stablewski; brother-in-law of late Fred Kucharski, late Frank (Eleanor) Piacente, Luke (late Toni) Piacente, late Angeline (late Frank) Militello and the late Andrew (late Patricia) Piacente; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Saturday 6-8 PM and Sunday 3-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 AM and from St. Philip the Apostle Church at 10 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Danny was a retiree of General Motors Powertrain, Tonawanda after 41 years of service, member of UAW Local 774 and was a loyal Yankees and Bills fan. Danny’s family would like to thank Hospice Buffalo for their loving care and support during the last few months.
