February 23, 2015 age 84 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 61 years to Lorraine T. (nee Skrzypczak) Zotara; dearest father of the late Patricia Richards, Joyce Sacha (Steve Roubal), late Sandra, Sharon (Robert) Claps, Mark (Michelle) and Daniel (Alana) Zotara II; dear grandfather of Christopher Richards, Keith (Melissa) Richards, Victoria Sacha, Lauren and Kaitlyn Zotara, Daniel and Emma Claps; great grandfather of Anakin, Aiden, Tricia, Madison and Taylor Richards; son of the late Bronislaus and Angeline (nee Wesolowski) Zotara; predeceased by 7 brothers and 3 sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9 AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Zotara was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of Pvt. Leonard Post VFW 6251 and a retiree of General Motors Delavan Plant. Flowers gratefully declined.
