August 8, 2021 age 88 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Delores (nee Hamon) and the late Donna (nee Pettit) Friedrich; dearest father of David (Shirley), Ronald (Kim), Donald (Doreen) and Diana (Mark) Dudzinski; step-father of Joseph (Lynn) Soldaczewski; dear grandfather of eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother of Gladys “Bib” (late Francis) Tolsma, late Ruth (late Stu) Reed, late William (late Ruth) and the late Ralph (late Esther) Friedrich; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday, August 13th from 3-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) where funeral services will be held at Saturday at 11 AM. Interment Elmlawn Cemetery. Mr. Friedrich was a Veteran of the Korean War, owner and operator for over 55 years of Friedrich Delivery Co., founding member of the Du Drop Athletic Club and a member of the Softball Hall of Fame.
