July 28, 2013 age 94 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Florence (nee Mucha); dearest father of Kathy McGoldrick, Sharon (James) Walkowiak and Michele Kovacs; dear grandfather of Jesse (Michelle) Kovacs, Jamie (John) Gavin, Michael Kovacs, Sarah Roach, Amanda Walkowiak and Rebecca Roach; dear great grandfather of Randy, Breanna, John and Julian; brother of Robert (Louise) McElligott, Donald (Annette) McElligott, late John (late Florence) McElligott, late Ellen (late Hank) Strzelczyk, late Richard (Patricia) McElligott and the late Janet Helta; beloved friend of Virginia Lembicz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 AM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mr. McGoldrick was an Army Veteran and a member of Francis J. Donovan Post 1626.
