Delores E. Godfrey

Delores E. Godfrey, a cherished resident of Depew, NY, passed away peacefully on October 28 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald E. Godfrey and a devoted mother to her daughters, Shelby (Louis) Godfrey-Bodner and Laura White. Delores was predeceased by her dearly missed daughter, Lynette Marie Godfrey.

An adoring grandmother, Delores took great pride in her grandchildren, Kristen (Mark) DiCesare and Sarah Godfrey, cherishing each moment spent with them. She also leaves behind the loving memory of her siblings, including her late brother Rodger "Pat" Cooper and his late wife Sherry, as well as her sister Phyllis, and brothers, Richard, Robert and Eugene Cooper.

Delores’s life will be celebrated by family and friends on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 5090 Transit Rd, culminating in a heartfelt Celebration of Life at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., a testament to Delores’s caring spirit.

Her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
