Diane C. Pietrzak, a beloved figure in the Cheektowaga community, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of Kenneth L. Pietrzak for an incredible 59 years, exemplifying a partnership rooted in love, respect, and unwavering support.
Diane was a nurturing mother to her three children, Brian (Kim), Jeffrey (Donna), and Sara Lelonek, offering them guidance and warmth throughout their lives. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Alyssa (Alex) Simon, Katelyn, Matthew, Nicholas, and Samantha Pietrzak, Madelyn and Mallory Lelonek, as well as her treasured great-granddaughter, Mia. Each of them carries forward the kindness and strength she so generously shared.
Diane was also a caring sister, survived by her nieces and nephews, who hold dear the memories of her gentle spirit and loving nature. She was predeceased by her sister, Theresa (late Vickers) Ward, and her brother, Paul Licnerski, with whom she shared countless memories that will be forever remembered.
In celebration of her life, family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 4, from 3 to 7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located at 5090 Transit Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. John Gualbert Church, 83 Gualbert Ave. We encourage all attendees to assemble at the church to celebrate Diane's remarkable journey.
To honor her memory, the family kindly requests that flowers be declined.
Diane’s generous heart, steadfast love, and indomitable spirit will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those she touched.
