Dolores C. Battaglia

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores C. Battaglia, a cherished soul who graced the lives of many. Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Joseph "Joe Batts" Battaglia, with whom she shared a deep and enduring love. Together, they cultivated a family that blossomed under their care, creating lasting memories and ties that bind.

Dolores was a devoted mother to her six children: Maryann (the late Roy) Tripi, Kathleen (late Art) Paolucci, Samuel (Peggy) Battaglia, Carla (Harvey) Gress, Joseph (Ann Marie) Battaglia, and Theresa (Vincent) Battaglia-Palma. Her legacy continues through her 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, each one a testament to her nurturing spirit and boundless love.

As a dear sister to the late Mildred (late James) Giambrone and an affectionate aunt to many nieces and nephews, Dolores maintained close connections with her family, who will cherish her memory and the joyful moments they shared.

The family will be present for loved ones to pay their respects on Tuesday from 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Parish at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., honoring Dolores’s caring nature and the support she provided to her family.

Dolores will forever be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and her enduring legacy of love. May she rest in eternal peace.
