Beloved husband of 50 years to Marcy A. (nee Nowak) Trautman; loving father of Donald Jr. (Anedda) and Brian (Lisa Handrick) Trautman; cherished grandpa of Alayna (Austin Strong), Claire, Owen and Walter Handrick; son of the late Eugene and Laura (nee Mindnich) Trautman; dear brother of Robert Trautman (Diane Bleifuss), Carla (Noel Varelo) Benz and Cheryl (Donald) Kubiak; also survived by many special nieces, a nephew and friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday, May 27th from 4-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at St. Josaphats Church (William and Peoria St.) at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Trautman was a retiree of the Courier Express and The Buffalo News after 48 years of service. Flowers gratefully declined.
