January 7, 2016 age 91 of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved wife of 68 years to Richard A. Blas; dearest mother of Christine (Thomas) Schifferli, Paul Blas and Cathy (James) Wojcik; dear grandmother of eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers and sisters. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-6 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:30 PM and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 1 PM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mrs. Blas was a former member of the Parish Council at Mother of Divine Grace Church and a retired Nurses Aide at St. Joseph Hospital. Flowers gratefully declined.
