April 14, 2019; of Cheektowaga, NY; age 98; Beloved wife of the late Edward L. Borowicz. Dearest mother of Mary Ann (Wayne) Palicia, Ginny Schwallie, Thomas E. Borowicz and Joseph E. Borowicz. Dear grandmother of Jeffrey (Laura) Palicia, Jennifer (Louis) Rufo, Michael (Ashleigh) Schwallie, Kevin (Jenna) Schwallie, Charlie Borowicz and great-grandmother of Bella, Atticus, Sebastian, Zoie, Alex and Aria. Sister of late Frank (late Theresa) Gorecki, late Millie (late Bill) Bielinski, Virginia (late Daniel) Maloney and the late Adam Gorecki. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday (TODAY) from 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and from Queen of Martyrs Church at 9:00 a.m. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Dorothy was a longtime volunteer at the former Millard Fillmore Hospital (Gates Circle) and member of the Queen of Martyrs Altar & Rosary Society. Flowers gratefully declined.
