June 23, 2014 age 90; beloved husband of the late Sophie C. (nee Makowski) Soltysiak; dearest father of Sandra (Robert) Goodemote, Sharon (Ronald) Hottum and Robert Soltysiak; dear grandfather of five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother of Natalie Soltysiak and the late John (late Stella) Soltysiak and Felix Soltysiak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM and from Resurrection Church at 11 AM. Entombment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined; memorials may be made to either the Erie County SPCA or the Disabled American Veterans.
