DEVINE, EDWARD J.
January 20, 2017; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of the late Ruth F. (nee Wieczorek) Devine. Dearest father of Carol Ann (Clyde) Wagner. Dear grandfather of Christopher (Sherry), Clyde, Jr. (Steven Tetz) and great-grandfather of Jamie, Jade and Evan. Brother of Elaine Devine and brother-in-law of Esther (late Richard) Maskulinski and the late Eleanor “Bonnie” (late Raymond) Prusiecki. Also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday February 10, 2017 in Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Edward was an Army veteran of the Korean War receiving the Purple Heart in 1952, member of the V.F.W. Leonard Post Jr. Post #6251 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #2692. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired, contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME.
