January 5, 2014 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 60 years to Dorothy J. (nee Jendras) Grus; dearest father of Connie (Ken) Rogers, late Wayne Grus and the late Laurette (David) Lawrence; dear grandfather of Erin (Mike) Reiter and Nathanial Lawrence; great grandfather of McKenzie and Calvin; brother of the late Florence (late Leonard) Kazmierczak also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:45 AM and from St. Philip the Apostle Church at 11:15 AM. Interment St. Matthews Cemetery.
