June 27, 2015; of Cheektowaga, NY; Beloved husband of Gale A. (nee Rettka) Leiker. Loving father of Edward, Jr. and Kimberly (Dennis) Thomas. Devoted grandfather of Madison, Hayleigh, Luke and Mackenzie. Dearest brother of the late Marie (late Don), Bernard (Kathy), late Bernice, Donald (late Barb) and brother-in-law of Dolores (late Phil), Joseph (Gloria), late Anna Marie, Edward (Rudy), Mageline, Margaret (late Herb) and Richard (Gloria). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday in St. Gabriel Church 5271 Clinton St. at 9:30 a.m. (please assemble at church). Edward was a Navy veteran, a retiree of Landis Printing and a former member of the Cheektowaga Lions Club. Flowers gratefully declined.
