Edward W. Serwon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward W. Serwon, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Edward's vibrant spirit will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

He was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine (nee Herko), and together they created a warm and loving family. Edward took great pride in his role as a father to his dear children: Dolorine "Dolly" (John) Roessler, Gregory (Susan), Jeannine (late Mark) Waldow, Joseph, and Mary Serwon. His love extended further to his 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life and where his legacy will continue to shine brightly.

Edward was a loving brother to the late Stanley (late Patricia) Serwon and Chester (late Mary Ann) Servon, and he held a special place in the hearts of his nieces and nephews. His family was everything to him, and he will be missed deeply by all.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, NY. Prayers will be held on Thursday at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. John Gualbert RC Church at 10:00 AM. Edward will be laid to rest at St. Stanislaus Cemetery with full military honors

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Edward's memory through contributions to St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital, ensuring that his legacy of love and kindness continues to impact those in need.

Edward W. Serwon’s life was a testament to the strength of family love and connection. He will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him, a guiding light of affection and devotion.
