October 3, 2019 age 86 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved daughter of the late Florence L. (nee Kerber) and Nelson G. Schalberg; cherished sister of late Nelson F. Schalberg and the late Lorraine A. (late Franklin F.) DeMont. Eileen’s visitation will be held on Monday October 7th from 5-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.,Depew) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at St. Philip the Apostle Church 950 Losson Rd. at 10 AM. (please assemble at Church) Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Ms. Schalberg retired from HSBC Bank after 38 years of service. She was a former parishioner of Most Holy Redeemer Church until its closing in 2007 where she assisted with the Catholic Charities Appeal, and participated on behalf of the parish in the Journey in Faith and Grace. She also served as an Election Inspector for the Erie Co. Board of Elections.
