September 27, 2022 age 94 of Lancaster, NY. Beloved husband of 65 years to Mildred H. (nee Sobczynski) Zablotny; dearest father of David (Monica), Carol (Gerald) Barbour and Diane (Thomas) Luksch; dear grandfather of Christopher, Justin (Brianna), Lauren, Allison and Corey; son of the late Joseph and Valaria (nee Zerkowski); brother of late Joseph (late Dolores), late Alice (late Ted) Wypijewski and the late Clare (late Richard) Finnegan; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 3-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church 1 St. Marys Hill, Lancaster at 9:30 AM. (Please assemble at Church) Entombment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Zabotny was an exempt member of Rescue Hose Co. No. 1 and an active member of its 25-year club, a co-owner for over 50 years of Zablotny Electric and a member of the National Electrical Contractors Assoc. Flowers gratefully declined.
