February 1, 2014 at the age of 85 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 57 years to Joan E. (nee Rybka) Dudek; dearest father of Gene (late Marcie) and Peter (Lisa) Dudek; dear grandfather of Jessica, Kara, Peter Jr., and Brian; brother of Wanda (late Alex) Gniewecki and the late Frances Zima, Edward Dudek and Joseph Dudek; brother-in-law of Ann DiStefano, Gerri Sherman and the late Rita Wick; also survived by nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to assemble for a Memorial Mass Wednesday at 11AM at Queen of Martyrs Church, 180 George Urban Blvd. Gene was a veteran of the Korean War, member of PVT Leonard Post VFW #6251, a retiree of Westinghouse and was an avid follower of his sons and grandchildrens athletic events.
