September 2, 2016; of Cheektowaga, NY; age 87; Beloved husband of 65 years to Dolores (nee Goc) Banaszak. Dearest father of Kathy (Gary) Stockman, Nancy (Charlie) Vitale, Tommy, Paul and the late Marlene Banaszak. Dear grandfather of Mandy (Vic), Charles, Nicholas and the late Jared. Brother of Edwin (Patty) Banaszak, Felica Banaszak and the late Jerry (late Estelle) Banaszak and the late Jean Gadra. Godfather of Brian Goc. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday 3-7 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.).
