May 22, 2014 age 91 of East Aurora, NY. Beloved husband of 48 years to Patricia F. (nee Gromek) Palys; dearest father of the late Francis A. Palys Jr., Lawrence (Judy) Palys, Timothy Palys and Michelle (Glenn) Kraebel; dear grandfather of Lawrence Palys Jr., brother-in-law of Gregory (Linda) Gromek; son of the late Stanislaus and Sophie (nee Meus) Palys; predeceased by brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at St. Gabriel Church 5271 Clinton St. at 11:30 AM (please assemble at Church) Mr. Palys was a veteran of WW II and a retiree of Chevrolet.
