TATRANSKY, FRANCIS "FRANK"
November 13, 2015; of Washington, DC; formerly of Amherst, NY; formerly of Melbourne, Australia. Born and raised in Ruzomberok, Slovakia. Beloved husband of the late Nina (nee Kozak) Tatransky. Dearest father of the late Valentin Tatransky. Dear brother-in-law of Olena (and the late Wsewolod) Korytnyk. Dear uncle of Natalie Korytnyk Forrester, Christine Korytnyk Dulaney and Peter Korytnyk. Great-uncle of Daniel and Matthew Dulaney. Prior to retirement, Mr. Tatransky was a Lead Surgical Technician at Buffalo General Hospital. He was a champion table tennis player, loved music, stamp and coin collecting, as well as gardening and canoeing at his lakeside cottage in Barker, NY. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday 6-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
