January 28, 2022 age 91 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of the late Patricia J. (nee Peacock) Schweitzer; dearest father of Peter J. (Roxanne) and Barbara A. Schweitzer; dear grandfather of Aaron (Kimberly) Schweitzer, Michael (fiancée Rosa) Housser and Mark (Jennifer) Ponticello; great grandfather of Julian and Celina Jo; brother of the late George (late Mildred), late Frederick (late Genevieve) and the late Carlton (late Carol) Schweitzer; dearest companion of Joann Schascheck; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday, February 4th from 4-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd., Depew) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 Noon. Mr. Schweitzer was a retired Marine Captain of the Edward M. Cotter Fireboat with the Buffalo Fire Dept. and was one of the last original charter member of Lake Erie Region Antique Auto Club of America. Flowers gratefully declined.
