(nee Olah) Hicks; dearest father of Craig (Carol) Hicks, Colleen (Paul) Grzybowski, Dawn (Roger) Gibson, Dana Hicks (Jim Bristol) and Scott “Duke” Hicks; loving grandfather of April (Greg) Feeney, Michael (Lauren) Gibson, Kevin (Jennifer) Grzybowski, Megghan Hicks, Amy (Joe) Steger and six great grandchildren; loving cousin of Donna McCarthy; son of the late Leroy and Bertha (nee Jividen) Hicks; predeceased by six brothers and sisters; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Tuesday November 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery. Mr. Hicks was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired machine shop teacher at McKinley High School.
