Entered into eternal rest on May 10, 2018 at age 92 of Buffalo, NY. Beloved daughter of the late John and Julia (nee Polek) Jakubczak; dear sister of Dr. Leonard (Doris) Jakubczak; also survived by a nephew, three nieces, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, many voice students and her friends at Sacred Heart Home. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus RC Church, 123 Townsend Street, Buffalo, NY 14212 on Saturday May 19th at 10 AM. Interment at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Miss Las was a world-renowned mezzo-soprano singer who performed concerts in Buffalo, New York City, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and most major opera houses across Europe. She leaves us with a legacy of many accomplished voice students and teachers to carry on in her name. Flowers gratefully declined.
