Harold O. Daigler

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold O. Daigler on December 17, 2024, of Orchard Park, NY. Harold was a devoted husband to his beloved late wife, Janice (nee Reisdorf), with whom he shared 67 years of love and companionship. Together, they built a family that will forever cherish the memories created under their warm embrace.

Harold was a loving father to Daniel Daigler and Jacqueline Powers, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and kindness. He took great joy in being a grandfather to Dylan Burns, Nicholas Burns, and Lydia Powers, each of whom held a special place in his heart, carrying forward his legacy of love and laughter.

A kind brother, Harold is survived by his siblings: Eleanor, David, and the cherished memory of his late brothers and sisters, Charles (late Margaret), Thomas (Gloria), Rita, Alan (Patricia), Bernard, and Norma. His family extends to many nieces and nephews who will miss his gentle spirit and guiding presence.

In accordance with Harold's wishes, there will be no prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 10 AM at St. Vincent DePaul Parish, Springbrook. Please gather at the church as we honor Harold’s journey and the love he shared with us all. Following the service, interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Strykersville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that we honor Harold's memory by cherishing our loved ones and sharing in the joy of their lives. Harold’s life, filled with love and devotion, will be a beacon of light in the hearts of all who knew him.
