November 28, 2013 age 88 Beloved son of the late George A. and Valarie (nee Tocha) Pietraszak; dear brother of Theodore (Anna) Pietraszak, late Edmund (late Helen) Pietraszak, late Celia (late Thomas F. Joyce and late Michael P. Verag), late Chester (late Marie) Pietraszak and the late Adele (late Frank) Pawlak; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 12-3 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday in Queen of Martyrs Church 180 George Urban Blvd. at 9:30 a.m. (please assemble at church) Entombment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Mr. Pietraszak was a Navy Veteran of WW II, member of Adam Plewacki Post #799 and a retiree of NY Central Railroad.
