February 11, 2017 age 89; of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved wife of the late James A. Metzger; dearest step-mother of Nancy (Michael) Guercio, Judith (Thomas) LaBrake, Laurie (David) Krajewski and the late James R. (Nancy) Metzger; dear grandmother of nine grandchildren and great-grandmother of Shaiann, Jacob, Lucas, Amelie, Lily, Cody, Everly, Liam, Asher and Scarlett; presdeceased by brothers and sisters; survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 85 George Urban Blvd. (west of Harlem Rd.) where funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
