Unexpectedly May 22, 2019 age 66 of Lancaster, NY. Beloved husband of 44 years to Maria (nee Szczur) Lagos; dearest father of Norbert, Michal and Karolina and proud grandfather of five; son of the late Tadeusz and Krystyna (nee Vogel) Lagos; brother of Maria Myjak. A husband, a father a friend. Jan was a selfless man who always made great sacrifices for the benefit and happiness of others. He labored tirelessly to provide a better life for his wife, children and grandchildren, always placing the family first. He will be truly missed by all the people that were touched by his generosity, kindness and limitless love. Do zobaczenia kochany Tato! Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Friday (TODAY) from 1-3 and 6-9 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd. Depew) Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (Clinton St.) at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
