August 13, 2014 of West Seneca, NY. Beloved wife of 53 years to Joseph W. Funk; dearest mother of Pam (Paul) Krieger and Jeff (Kelly) Funk; loving "grandma boo" of Jason and Cassidy; daughter of the late Zygmund and Apolonia (nee Jurkowski) Godzik; sister of Mary (Richard) Dziejman, late Stella Augustyn and the late Leon Godzik; also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where prayers will be said on Monday at 10:15 AM and from Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 11 AM. Mrs. Funk was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Holy Name Society, a Eucharistic Minister, JC Penney's Retiree Group, Breast Cancer Support Group and the Garden Club at Birchfield Village.
