JARZYNIECKI - Jane A. (nee Satkowski)
July 28, 2013 after a brave and courageous two year battle with breast cancer, passed peacefully at St. John Baptist Hospice House in Buffalo. Cherished mother of Sara Jane Jarzyniecki, devoted sister of Amy (David) Shepard; beloved daughter of the late Bernard M. and Rita (nee Lubecki) Satkowski; also survived by her maternal uncle through marriage, cousins, 'good' Shepard in-laws and dear friends. The family wishes to thank Jane's 'work' family at Hamburg Overhead Door and her part time summer work family at Martin's Fantasy Island for the love, support and friendship they bestowed. Heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in Jane's care at Roswell Park Cancer Institute specifically her phlebotomists and her amazing 7 North Clinical Trial team of angels. Also, to her angels of compassion - the nurses, doctors, aides and staff at St. John Baptist Hospice House for their gift of comfort.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday August 3, 2013 in Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd. Lackawanna, NY 14218; followed by Interment in Saint Matthews Cemetery, West Seneca. Please assemble at the Basilica after 8:45 AM
Flowers gratefully declined. It was Jane's wish that any gifts in her memory be made to benefit her daughter, Sara Jarzyniecki. Arrangements by MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME.
