June 24, 2014 of Depew, NY Dearest mother and best friend of Janine. Beloved wife of 60 years to the late "Brownie". Sister of Mary Schab and sister-in-law of Charles Stuart. Predeceased by sisters Florence, Tessie, Sophie, Helen, Jean, brothers Joseph, Chester, Edward and several in-laws. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Thursday 4-9 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday in Assumption Church 435 Amherst Street at 10:30 a.m. (please assemble at church) Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Jane was a member of the Four Pillars Club, had a passion for gardening, sewing, singing, puzzles and a die-hard Sabres fan. "Auntie Jane" loved entertaining her family and friends.
