Survived by his loving wife of 65 years Tatiana (nee Abramenko) Benkow; devoted daughter Tamara Benkow; devoted son George (Kathryn) Benkow and loving granddaughter Lydia Marie. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Monday 4-8 p.m. at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Matthew Cemetery. Panachyda Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.sliwinskifuneralhome.com
