July 15, 2016 age 88 of Cheektowaga, NY. Beloved husband of 66 years to Irene G. (nee Muszynski) Czajka; dear father of late Linda and Valerie Czajka RN,MSN (Douglas Joyce); dear grandfather of Anthony and Nicholas; brother of the late Rita (late Norman) Benner. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 AM and from St. Philip the Apostle Church at 10 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Czajka retired as a lieutenant from the Cheektowaga Police Department after 31 years of service, Veteran of WW II, a member of Cheektowaga Police Captain and Lieutenants Assoc., Captain and Lieutenants Assoc. of Erie County, Cheektowaga Police Bowling League for 60 years and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 2692 and enjoyed golfing.
