December 6, 2016 age 66 of Elma, NY. Beloved husband of 43 years to Marilyn A. (nee Kemp) Gembar; dearest father of Andrew (Jackey) Gembar and Katie (Craig) Wassinger; loving grandfather of Zoe and Tatum Wassinger; brother of Jeanne (Kevin) Doran and the late Fred (Carol) Gembar; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives and friends Friday 4-7 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.) where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. Mr. Gembar was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a retiree of Moog. Flowers gratefully declined.
